this is a reprint the original 1st issue never was an IDW, the art work isn't close to the original that cameout back in 1984. So buyer beware the original TMNT came out in 84 and this is just a reprint.
This isn't meant to be a reprint of Mirage TMNT Vol. 1, and, as far as I can tell, isn't represented as such here. It's a retailer exclusive cover variation of IDW's TMNT #1, with some extra content.
This coming is a Reprint and has no "historical value" to but it still a good read nonetheless
